Dinopera
KHWOSHCH (Russia, Germany, Czech Republic)
About
A tragic puppet opera performed on a small but luxurious stage of a baroque theatre. The opera singers are ancient creatures: from the first complex ocean organisms of Ediacaran biota to different kinds of dinosaurs. And as such, you can bet they have a wider vocal range than ordinary human singers. The hugeness of some of the animals matches the scale of the tragedy which humans haven’t experienced yet - the Tragedy of Extinction. Original libretto and music; performed in four languages.
